Emmy time!
July 17th, 2008 by CarynOk, so I have never really paid attention the Emmys, and the chances of me watching this year are slim to none, but I thought that I'd post the LOST Emmy nominees because, let's face, it, this is the most news we've had all summer!
Anyway, it's not much. I would have at least expected Desmond (Henry Ian Cusick) as a shoe-in for supporting actor, but it seems he got snubbed! At least Ben (Michael Emerson) made it in. Still, I can't help but be a bit disappointed that the stellar acting in Season 4 seems to have been largely overlooked.
Luckily, the rest of the (behind the scenes) crew seems to be well-represented: sound crew, composers, editors, etc. Reminds me that it takes practically an army to bring us our Lost fix every year!

No writer's strike, but have the actors (SAG) resolved their contract? I thought that was the threat to this upcoming season.

Ben was good but for my money, Henry Ian Cusick is the man. Sayid was also excellent, esp. in the flash forward ep. with him killing Widmore's men in Germany.

It's Emmy time! Each year when the Emmy nominees are announced and the winners chosen, many television fans are left outraged when their favorite shows are left out of the race. This year's nominees are a nice mix of perennial contenders and new faces. Without The Sopranos and 24 in the running, many new candidates caught the eye of those Emmy voters.

i'm slowly seeing new commercials for NBC's shows that were put on hiatus due to the writer's strike (Chuck, Hero, Knight Rider). I wonder when ABC will do the same and tease us with Lost....
oh yeah, congratulations again!
